Kurbside Kona

Kona Ice is coming to Grayhawk on May 30! Just text 602-419-1919 with your location on May 30 and the Kona Ice truck will come to you after 12 p.m. Kona Ice is committed to providing a fun, safe and clean experience to our residents and will be using caution by not having their flavorwave open, and by not refilling cups. Father's Day Video

We invite everyone to submit a short but sweet 10-20 second Father’s Day video greeting or memorial for the father figure in your life. Please send your landscape-orientation cell phone video to svanduyne@ccmcnet.com labeled "Father’s Day." Take a video of yourself as you wish a special father in your life a happy Father’s Day. All submissions must be turned in by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 12.

Virtual Bingo

Join us June 18 from 6-7 p.m. to play an interactive game of Bingo from the comfort of your own home via Zoom. You will have the chance to win prizes like a $100 gift card to Parma Italian Roots, $100 gift card for the Grayhawk Golf Club, a wine basket and more! Spots are limited. Register by June 15.

Get Involved in Your Community

There are many ways to get involved in Grayhawk, including serving on any one of Grayhawk’s committees. Some committees meet monthly, others as needed, but every committee plays a huge part in making Grayhawk the great community it is. Committees currently looking for new members include the Community Enhancement, Operational Review, Landscaping and Communications Committees. Learn more or submit an application today.

Amenity and GCA Office Reminders

The tot lots, ramadas and basketball court in The Park are now open. The pools, tennis courts and ramadas in the Retreat Village are also open. Residents who are sick or vulnerable to COVID-19 are asked to please stay home. Residents are also encouraged to bring necessary items (face masks, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes) to ensure their safety when using Grayhawk amenities.

The Grayhawk Office will remain closed to outside traffic through May. The office will be open in June by appointment only. This means that if you plan to visit the office you must first call 480-563-9708 or email a staff member to schedule an appointment. Residents should be prepared to wear a face mask for appointments.

Scottsdale Water Line Project

The city of Scottsdale will be installing approximately 3,200 linear feet of 16-inch water line under Scottsdale Road from Princess Blvd to Mayo Blvd beginning May 18, 2020. The water line project is necessary to alleviate pressure issues and to adequately meet customer demand in the area.

Construction will begin just south of Princess Blvd and progress north to Mayo Blvd. Northbound traffic on Scottsdale Road in the project area will be reduced to one lane. Southbound lanes will be reduced to two lanes. Both north- and southbound left turns will be maintained at Mayo Blvd, Chauncey Lane and Princess Blvd, with intermittent, short-term closures as needed.

This project was originally planned to begin in the summer of 2021. Given reduced traffic and lightened resort travel related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Scottsdale Water was able to move the project up to summer 2020 to lessen the impact of the Scottsdale Road traffic restrictions. Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.

Transponders will be installed per the regular schedule, however, there will be modifications as no residents will be coming into the office. If you would like to have a transponder installed please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during the schedule time in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on.
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder
