Sunday in the Park

Don't forget to register for this great event, taking place at the Grayhawk Greenbelt on Nov. 3 from 2-5 p.m. Dine on samples from your favorite restaurants including Phil’s Grill, JJ’s Deli, Meritage Urban Tavern, Thai Express, Cien Agaves, Tomaso’s Italian Kitchen, Tryst Café, The Keg Steakhouse and Nothing Bundt Cakes. Enjoy live music, a zipline, bounce houses and much more. Cost for the event is $8 for adults and $3 for kids ages 4-12 (3 and under are free) if registration is received by Oct. 29. Price will increase after October 29 and no registration will be taken past noon on November 1. No walkups will be accepted at this event.

The event will feature a prize raffle with tons of prizes and one lucky winner will take home a complimentary two night stay at the JW Marriot-Desert Ridge! Want an extra raffle ticket? Bring Birthday in a Bag donations for Arizona Helping Hands and receive an extra raffle ticket. Items to donate include balloons, streamers, box cake, frosting and candles.

Halloween Food Truck

You no longer have to stress about dinner on Halloween! Doughlicious Pizza will be selling delicious pizza, soft pretzels and salad in the cul-de-sac at the end of Buteo Drive in Coventry at Grayhawk. GCA Office Hours

The Grayhawk Community Association office will be closing at 4 p.m. on October 31 in order for staff members to enjoy Halloween with their families. The office will reopen on Friday, November 1 at 8 a.m. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Hiking Club

Join the Hiking Club on Nov. 9 for an 8 mile hike on the Gooseneck/Rock Knob Loop in McDowell Preserve. This loop hike is ideal for hikers with some experience.

Also on Nov. 9, join the Hiking Club for the third in a series of beginner Hikes in the Brown’s Ranch Area. This 4.5 mile round trip hike is ideal for folks brand new to hiking. Learn more about these hikes and/or register on the Hiking Club website.

Bunco Night

Join the ladies on November 12 at 6 p.m. in the Talon Room for food, wine and Bunco! Never played before? Don’t worry! It’s an easy dice game- all you need to know is how to roll dice and count. We’ll do a quick lesson before we get started. Just register and prepay $5 in the GCA office by November 8. Loop 101 Construction

Upcoming Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) Improvement Project road closures impacting Grayhawk include:

North- and southbound Scottsdale Road will be closed overnight at the Pima Freeway from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Oct. 28, and continuing through the morning of Oct. 30.
North- and southbound Hayden Road will be closed overnight at the Pima Freeway from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning Oct. 30, and continuing through the morning of Nov. 1, and again from 10 p.m., Nov. 1, to 5 a.m. Nov. 4.
