Honoring High School Seniors

Don't miss the chance to recognize your high school senior! We will be featuring a "Grayhawk High" section in the Q2 issue of the Grayhawk Flight. Send a recent photo and brief bio (no more than 120 words) to Jenn at jsheets@ccmcnet.com by no later than March 5.

Annual Meeting Reminders

Join us on Wednesday, March 19 for a night of celebrating the community that you live in. Elect new Board members, look back on the past year and forward to what’s in store in the future. There will also be tons of great raffle prizes! Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for light refreshments. The GCA meeting will begin at 6 p.m., followed immediately by the RVA meeting.

If you have Association-related questions, now is your chance to ask! Submit your question or comment by Wednesday, March 12 at 5 p.m. and it may be answered at the Annual Meeting. Any questions not addressed during the meeting will be answered personally or in an upcoming issue of the Grayhawk Flight.

An email was recently sent to homeowners from grayhawk@ivotehoa.com (GCA) and retreatvillage@ivotehoa.com (RVA) containing ballots, links to candidate videos and information on the Annual Meetings. The election is being managed electronically. If you do not receive the emails for either GCA and the RVA (if you live in the Retreat Village), please reach out to Cullen Boswell at cboswell@ccmcnet.com or 480-563-9708.

Make Sure You Vote on this Important Ballot Measure

In 2023, the Arizona Legislature passed HB2298 requiring associations conduct a vote in order to retain the ability to regulate public roadways. In order for this vote to pass, one tenth of the members must vote, and at least of a majority of the members voting must vote YES, in favor of retaining the right to regulate public roadways. The vote for this was included GCA Board of Directors ballot that was sent on Monday, February 24.

If the GCA does not obtain enough YES votes, it will forever lose the ability to regulate public roadways. That means that the GCA would not be able to prevent or regulate items like trash/recycle bins, boats, RVs, construction materials or cars from being anywhere in the public residential streets at any time. You can learn more about this important vote by visiting our website.
