Make Sure You Vote on this Important Ballot Measure

In 2023, the Arizona Legislature passed HB2298 requiring associations conduct a vote in order to retain the ability to regulate public roadways. In order for this vote to pass, one tenth of the members must vote, and at least of a majority of the members voting must vote YES, in favor of retaining the right to regulate public roadways. The vote for this was included GCA Board of Directors ballot that was sent on Monday, February 24.

If the GCA does not obtain enough YES votes, it will forever lose the ability to regulate public roadways. That means that the GCA would not be able to prevent or regulate items like trash/recycle bins, boats, RVs, construction materials or cars from being anywhere in the public residential streets at any time. You can learn more about this important vote by visiting our website.
