Stargazing 

Grab a flashlight and some chairs and head over to the Grayhawk Greenbelt on the corner of 78th Way and 78th Pl. on Sept. 30 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. for a night of stars and planets with Stargazing for Everyone. We'll have Moon Pies, drinks and lots of fun for all ages. Cost is $3 per person. Register by Sept. 18.

Tequila Tasting

Join your neighbors on Sept. 26 from 4:30-6 p.m. at Blue Agave Mexican Cantina to taste some top shelf tequilas. The cost to participate is $35 per person and includes three tequila tastings and heavy appetizers. Register by Sept. 18.

Political Signage

The state of Arizona regulates how homeowners' associations handle political signage. 
Political signs must not be displayed more than 71 days prior to the primary election and more than 15 days after the general election. Signage for any primary candidate that does not advance to the general election must be removed within 15 days of the primary election. The signage must be kept on the owner’s property and the maximum aggregate total dimensions of all political signs on any owner’s property shall not exceed nine square feet. You can find more details on the Arizona State Legislature site.

Home Modifications

When making any changes to your home that are visible from the street or neighboring property, please ensure modifications are approved by the Architectural Review Committee. You can find more about the submittal process and guidelines for modifications on our website. If you are unsure if your project needs approval or if you have questions about a submittal, contact Ashley Scott.

Monterey Retreat Pool Now Open

The Monterey pool area is now open. If you borrowed a key for an alternate pool during the closure, please remember to return the key to the GCA Office during regular business hours. The office will be open this week Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Transponder Installation

Installations for this week will occur on Monday from 8-9, Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Nian at 480-563-9708 or nquinn@ccmcnet.com. Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
