AZHH Volunteer Event

Volunteers and children ages 8+ (with adults) are welcome to join us at Arizona Helping Hands on Sept. 20 from 1-3 p.m. to fill a foster child's birthday wish list. Pairs will shop for birthday gifts in the warehouse, then decorate/gift wrap the gifts. Supplies will be provided. Space is limited. Register by September 18.

Fish and Sips Happy Hour

Join neighbors 21 and older to sip with the sharks at the Odysea Aquarium at 6 p.m. on Sept. 22 (please note the new date). Enjoy live music, yard games and interactive exhibits for $36, along with cash bars throughout the aquarium. Grayhawk residents will be issued wristbands to help easily find neighbors. Register by Sept. 19.

CPR & AED Class

Head over to the Talon Room on Oct. 7 from 9-11 a.m. to earn your CPR certification card after learning about the Good Samaritan Law, complications of CPR, stroke, heart attack, using CPR barriers, choking and AED and CPR for the adult, child and infant. Teens and adults welcome. Cost is $40 per person. Register by Oct. 3

GCA and RVA Strategic Planning

The Grayhawk Community Association and Retreat Village Association Boards will be meeting at the GCA Office at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 to set short and long-term goals for the community. This meeting is open to residents. If you have any questions, please call the management team at 480-563-9708.

Curb Appeal Reminder

On recent property tours, staff have noticed homes with large toys, shoe racks, empty pots, renovation materials and more being kept near the front door for a period of time. Please remember that the front of your home contributes to the overall look of your street and make sure these items are kept inside or behind your gate.

Street Project

The Retreat Village Association Board of Directors has approved a major street reconstruction project for Grayhawk Drive throughout the Retreat that is scheduled from September 25 through October 20, 2023. This project will impact resident and vendor access at various points during the project as milling, paving, repairs and striping occur. We highly encourage that only necessary vendors and guests visit the community during this time.

A street replacement project is taking place in Peregrine Vistas this week, with milling beginning today. Peregrine Vistas residents should watch for emails with reminders of closures taking place and instructions for alternate parking locations.

Retreat Village Association Email

Retreat Village Association (RVA) residents can opt in to email or text distribution lists specific to the RVA.
