Ladies Bunco

Join neighbors in the Raptor Room at 6 p.m. on Sept. 14 for a night of food, drinks and Bunco! Never played before? Don’t worry! We’ll do a quick lesson before we get started. Just register online and drop $5 exact cash to the office by 5 p.m. on Sept. 9.  Then bring a bottle of wine or an appetizer to share the night of the event.

Food Truck Night: Queso Good

Leave the cooking to the professionals! Head to the corner of 78th Way and 78th Place from 4:30-6 p.m. on Sept. 15 and grab a quesadilla from Queso Good Food Truck. From the Hail Caesar Chicken to the Cubano Melt, they’ve got a quesadilla for everyone! Check out their menu and watch for the preorder link in next week’s Buzz. 

AZHH Volunteer Event

Volunteers and children ages 8+ (with adults) are welcome to join us at Arizona Helping Hands on Sept. 20 from 1-3 p.m. to fill a foster child's birthday wish list. Pairs will shop for birthday gifts in the warehouse, then decorate/gift wrap the gifts. Supplies will be provided. Space is limited.  Register by September 15. 

Tequila Tasting

Join neighbors in the Talon Room on Sept. 22 from 6-8 p.m. to learn how tequila is made as well as the history of the drink with TequilaSnobs. Taste 10 unique tequilas, including three desert tequilas. This event is for adults 21 and older only. Cost is $58 per person and includes tequila and snacks. Space is limited. Register by September 12.

Street Project

The Retreat Village Association Board of Directors has approved a major street reconstruction project for Grayhawk Dr. throughout that Retreat that is scheduled from September 25 through October 20, 2023. This project will impact resident and vendor access at various points during the project as milling, paving, repairs and striping occur. We highly encourage that only necessary vendors and guests visit the community during this time.

Prior to the Grayhawk Dr. project, street replacement will take place in Peregrine Vistas. Please watch for more information on the project and make sure that you are signed up to receive Retreat Village Association emails by following the steps below. 

Transponder Installation

Installations for this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102).
