Preparing for Monsoons Now is the time to assess your trees and have dead branches removed to help minimize potential damage during monsoon season. If the foliage in your tree is exceedingly thick and heavy, have the tree pruned. Trees with very dense canopies do poorly in high winds, which increases the risk of breakage or even the entire tree falling over. A Certified Arborist can do an assessment and help prepare trees for monsoon season.

Common Area Wall Delamination With the age of the community and various environmental elements, stucco in some areas has failed. Prior repair techniques are no longer effective and full stucco replacement is recommended. To repair the stucco would entail removing the existing stucco to the substrate, then having a base coat and a texture coat reapplied. A full prime to the raw stucco and repaint would then take place. The Operational Review committee met in May to review three proposals and recommended a vendor for stucco delamination in Peregrine Villas. This was approved by the Board of Directors at the June meeting to be funded from the RVA Reserve Fund. If this process is successful and the contractor provides excellent service, the committee will move forward with the vendor for additional recommended areas within the community.
