Talon and Raptor Gate Closures
After almost 28 years, it's time to repave the area around the guardhouses. Grading and asphalt paving is scheduled to occur at the Talon Retreat guardhouse on Thursday, March 23 and Friday, March 24, 2023 and both entry and exit traffic will be blocked from the main Talon gate off of Thompson Peak Pkwy. from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. On Saturday, March 25 re-striping will occur. This will not close the entry or exit gate but may restrict or stop traffic for a short period of time.
All resident, guest and vendor traffic will be redirected to the Hualapai Rd. gate for entry, where security personnel will process them through. We strongly encourage residents to reschedule guests and vendors to avoid significant delays at the gate.
On Tuesday, March 28, Wednesday, March 29 and Thursday, March 30 the same process will take place at the Raptor Retreat guardhouse, and all Raptor Retreat residents, guests and vendors will be directed to the Hayden Rd. and Grayhawk Dr. gate for entry. Again, we strongly encourage residents to reschedule vendors and guests to avoid delays.
In addition, residents are encouraged to use the gate on Hayden Rd. and 79th Way to avoid the guest and vendor traffic being processed at the Hayden Rd. and Grayhawk Dr. gate.
