Plant it ForwardGrayhawk homeowners are encouraged to propagate plants in their own yards and donate them to the Association for DLC to use throughout the community during the fall planting season through the Plant it Forward program. Learn more about the program, including when you can donate your plants, by visiting the GCA website.
Fall donations dates are schedule on Tues., October 25 and Wed., October 26. Donations can be dropped off in a box either day by 1 p.m. at any of the following locations. - Monterey Park Tot Lot- E. Whistling Wind Way and N. 74th Way
- Windsong Mailbox- E. White Tail Way and N. 76th Way
- Peregrine Pool (for Retreat Village residents only)- E. Angel Spirit Way and N. 82nd Way
- Los Vientos Pool (for Retreat residents only)- E. Windwood Ln. and N. 81st Pl.
If you aren’t sure how to go about propagating a plant, you’re in luck! Landscape Committee Chairperson Arlene Smith and resident plant guru Victoria Kauzlarich (author of “Our Desert, Our Home” in The Grayhawk Flight) created a how-to video walking viewers through the easy steps of propagating various desert plants.

Paws at the ParkJoin Cashman Partners | Russ Lyon Sotheby's and the Grayhawk Community Association for this "pawsome" event on Nov. 6 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Grayhawk Greenbelt. Check out the Doggie D.J., kids fun zone, pup portraits, pup adoptions, ask the Pet Vet, raffles, hot dogs from Sunland Asphalt and more! This is a free event, but registration is required.

Jon neighbors on Nov. 13 from 3-5 p.m. in the Grayhawk Greenbelt to sample food from favorite area restaurants like Pitch Pizzaria, Lings Wok Shop, Capital Grill, Chula Seafood, The Italian Daughter, Kasai, Lou Malnati’s, and more Enjoy live music from Outside the Lines as the kids enjoy bounce houses, yard games, a petting zoo, and more. There will be a raffle with gift cards to various restaurants and one winner will take home a complimentary one night stay at a local resort. Bring a new pair of children's socks (any size) to donate to Arizona Helping Hands and receive an extra raffle ticket! Cost for the event is $10 for adults and $5 for kids 4-12 and kids 3 and under are FREE. All food and activities are included. Registration is required by November 9. Construction MaterialsIf you are having construction materials delivered, please make sure that they are stored on your property (driveway or landscaping) and that the materials are not blocking any portion of the sidewalks. This includes materials that are delivered and will be installed the same day. The sidewalks need to remain clear at all times for the safety of your neighbors.

Guardhouse UpdateThis week, trenching for underground conduits is taking place at both guardhouses and rough-ins (HVAC and plumbing at Raptor and IT at Talon) are also taking place. Building wraps and rain screens will be installed this week, followed immediately by windows.
