Mimi’s Paper Flower Art class

Join Mimi on Sept. 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Raptor Room as she teaches how to construct a beautiful elegant giant paper flower that you can display on its own or as a part of a flower wall. Class is $45 per person and includes supplies and light snacks. Bring your favorite beverage to share. Register by Sept. 23.

Deb's Dragons Wildlife Encounters

Join neighbors in the Talon Room on Sept. 29 from 5-5:45 to learn about misunderstood creatures from all over the world. Touch slithering snakes, licking lizards, and hissing cockroaches! Or feel free to sit back, watch, and enjoy watching everyone else squirm. This fun and educational adventure is for all ages. Bring some bravery, and don’t forget your camera! Register by Sept. 27.

Deb's Dragons Teen Fear Factor

Think you have what it takes to win Grayhawk Fear Factor? Kids ages 10 and older are invited to join us for this fast-paced event full of team-based games taking place in the Talon Room on Sept. 29 from 6-7:30 p.m. Teams will have the opportunity to win prizes like Amazon, Target, and iTunes gift cards! Register by Sept. 24 Cost is $5 per person and includes pizza.

Home Modifications

When making changes to your home that are visible from the street or neighboring property, please ensure that modifications are approved by the Architectural Review Committee. This includes paint, lighting, landscaping, doors and more. Find more about the submittal process and guidelines for modifications on our website. If you are unsure if your project needs approval or have questions about a submittal, contact Ashley Scott.

Preparations for Overseeding

DLC Resources will continue preparations for overseeding this week. You may notice that some areas are not being prepared for overseeding. This break gives Bermuda recovery time to build strength before the next growing season. Turf areas not being overseeded will be fertilized and watered to maintain healthy Bermuda grass as long as weather allows. You can view areas not being overseeded on the turf rotation map.

Guardhouse Update

Framing will continue this week on the Raptor Guardhouse. The Talon Guardhouse frame is complete and rough-in HVAC ductwork will happen this week.

Installations for this week and next will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102).
