Tuesday Trivia

Gamenighttrivia.com, New York City’s longest running pub quiz company is bringing their authentic NYC bar trivia experience to your home August 23 from 6-7 p.m. The trivia will be randomly chosen for our group and will have some questions for all skill and knowledge levels. Coffee with a Cop

Join your local Crime Prevention officers Sherri Hawkinson and Robert Katzaroff on August 27 from 9-10 a.m. to enjoy coffee and pastries as they discuss the role of the Crime Prevention Unit, general crime trends, and some topics relevant to our area. GCA Office Closure

The GCA will be closing at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16 for staff training. The office will re-open for normal business hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m.) on Wednesday, August 17.

Please note that there will be no transponder installation hours for Retreat Village residents on August 16 due to this closure.

Share Your Home Improvements

As a reminder, any exterior modifications visible from the street or neighboring property should be submitted to the Architectural Review Committee for approval. Trash and Recycle Reminder

Please remember that trash and recycle bins must be stored where they are not visible from the street. This means that outside of scheduled pickup times, they should be in your garage or behind your fence.

Place your bins on the street with the back wheels against the curb by 5:00 a.m. on collection days and remove it the same day. Do not place bins on the sidewalk.

Pool Closures

Halcon Pool
Beginning August 15, the Halcon pool area will be closed for approximately eight days for deck resealing. The anticipated re-open date is Tuesday, August 23. Residents wishing to gain access to an alternate pool can pick up a key at the Grayhawk office at 7940 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy. during regular business hours.

Guardhouse Update

We have a slab! The foundation slab for the new Talon guardhouse is complete and the framer is having the first load of lumber dropped off this week. The concrete crew will now move to the Raptor side to start prepping for foundation digging there.

Installations for this week and next will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102).
