Lou Malnati's Pizza By Me Class

Head to Lou Malnati's on May 19 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to learn the art of deep dish. After watching your very own creation go into the oven, you will get to enjoy an assortment of salads, bruschetta and calamari as well as bottomless beer, wine and soft drinks. Finish the night with a chocolate chip cookie pizza desert. Cost to participate is $60 per person paid the night of the event with card or cash. Register by May 16.

Grayhawk Nerf Battle

Kick-Off your summer with an exciting Nerf battle at the Grayhawk greenbelt on May 21 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Battle Party Events will provide the latest blasters, but kids can also bring their own if they wish! Parents will even get the chance to battle it out with their kids during this event. Cost to participate is $10 per child, which includes pizza during the event. Register today!

End of School Ice Cream Blast

Join us in the greenbelt on the corner of 78th Pl. and 78th Way on May 25 from 4:30-6 p.m. to celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of summer with an ice cream treat from the Old School Ice Cream Bus and yard games in the greenbelt! Check out the Old School Ice Cream Bus menu prior to the event. We will be giving out FREE treats to the first 100 who attend!

Brush and Bulk Pickup

Scottsdale Brush and Bulk collection will take place in Grayhawk the week of May 23. Items must be placed for pickup by 5 a.m. on May 23. Stack items neatly, parallel to the street on your front property line. Bulk and green waste piles should be placed at least 3 feet from each other. Visit the City of Scottsdale website for more information on placement and what items are accepted.

Guardhouse Project Update

This week, residents should start noticing some trees, saguaros, barrel cacti, and ocotillos being relocated or placed in the median behind the guardhouse.

Cables in the Raptor Retreat

Retreat Village residents may notice communication cables laying in the street throughout the Raptor Retreat this week as the Grayhawk Golf Club hosts the NCAA Division 1 Golf Championships. Cables are expected to be near the entrance to Serenity and just inside the main Raptor Gate entrance. They should be covered with a yellow cord cover to make them visible to residents. Please be sure to drive slowly when crossing the cables.

Watch For Street Sealing Notices

If you live in the Serenity, Los Vientos or Firenze neighborhoods, please be sure to read the letter that was mailed to you last week regarding the upcoming street sealing. The letter details the dates of street closures impacting each neighborhood as well as alternate locations for parking. You can also find more information on our website.
