Food Truck Night-Waffle CrushPick up dinner or dessert (or both) on Oct. 21 from 5-7 at the corner of 78th Way and 78th Pl. City of Scottsdale Bulk TrashCity of Scottsdale bulk trash crews are still working to get caught up. Please be patient as they work to catch up and return to their regular schedule.
As a reminder, your brush and bulk items should be placed three feet apart parallel to the street on your property line. Please do not block the street or sidewalk with bulk and brush. Where to Report MosquitosInformation provided by Maricopa County Environmental Services If you notice excessive mosquitos, please report it to Maricopa County Environmental Services
Maricopa County Environmental Services conducts year-round surveillance and abatement of mosquitoes. Their Vector Control Division deploys routine mosquito traps every week and additional complaint driven traps to collect mosquitoes. You can view trap locations on the Mosquito Management Map.
Culex mosquitoes are tested for West Nile and St. Louis encephalitis viruses and Aedes aegypti mosquitoes are tested for Chikungunya, Dengue, and Zika viruses. The Vector Control Division also investigates feral bees, fly, and roof rat complaints.

New Trash/Recycle Collection DaysCity of Scottsdale trash and recycling collection days will be changing beginning Nov. 1.
Grayhawk recycle (pink cans) will be picked on Tuesday and trash (black cans) will be picked up on Thursday.

Retreat Pool UpdatesCrown Point Beginning Oct. 11, the pool area will be closed for approximately three weeks. The anticipated re-open date is Oct. 29. The Crown Point Board of Directors has approved the pool resurface material to be Mini-Pebble as an upgrade to the current plaster. An alternate pool will be provided for use during this time if requested. If you have any questions, please contact Ashley Scott.
Volare The Volare pool heater has been repaired and the pool is open.

Transponder Installation (RVA Only)Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). If you would like to have a transponder installed, please follow the steps below: 1. Complete the online transponder installation form 2. Come to the office during one of the schedule times in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on 3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car 4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder
We are no longer accepting cash for transponders. Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
