New Resident Orientation

Join us via Zoom from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 to learn more about the community you live in. Learn a bit about the Association and enjoy some easy trivia for a chance to win prizes at the end of the orientation! Just for joining you will be entered into a raffle for a $50 Amazon gift card. Grayhawk Shredding Event

Make plans to stop by the GCA office (7940 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy.) on Sept. 18 from 9-11 a.m. during our shredding event with Shred-it Document Destruction Services Each registered vehicle will be allowed no more than two bankers box sized boxes. Documents will be shredded on site once the trash receptacle is full and placed inside the truck. You must register to participate as space in the truck is limited.

This is a free service for Grayhawk residents, but we are accepting donations for our non-profit partner, Arizona Helping Hands. Items they are in need of include toothpaste, toothbrushes, baby diapers and baby wipes. Thanks to our sponsor, Cashman Partners- Russ Lyon Sotheby’s group for making this event possible.

Food Truck Night

Take a break and grab dinner from Rockin Rollz Lobster & Sushi on September 23 from 5-7 p.m. at the corner of 78th Way and 78th Pl. Enjoy everything from lobster tacos to poke bowls to super fresh sushi rollz. There will be no parking on the street, please park in the offices at Grayhawk parking lot located at 7940 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy. and take the sidewalk path to the greenbelt. View the menu ahead of time and order at the event.

Mosquitos

Mosquitos have become a nuisance to many valley residents thanks to heavy rains this summer. Maricopa County currently fogs areas that have mosquito infestations through the mosquito adulticide program. You have two options to lodge a mosquito complaint with Maricopa County's Environmental Services Department.

1. Call 602-506-3011 to file a complaint over the phone.
2. Submit a complaint online.

New Trash/Recycle Collection Days

City of Scottsdale trash and recycling collection days will be changing beginning Nov. 1.

Grayhawk recycle (pink cans) will be picked on Tuesday and trash (black cans) will be picked up on Thursday.

Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.

If you would like to have a transponder installed, please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during one of the schedule times in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder

We are no longer accepting cash for transponders. Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
