Play Day at the Park

Join us at the Monterey Tot Lot on Sept. 11 from 9-10:30 a.m. for some play time with neighbors and friends! This tot lot is well shaded and a great place for the kids to run off some energy. We will provide breakfast pastries, tasty snacks and cold refreshments! Register by Sept. 9.

New Resident Orientation

Join us via Zoom from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 to learn more about the community you live in. Learn a bit about the Association and enjoy some easy trivia for a chance to win prizes at the end of the orientation! Just for joining you will be entered into a raffle for a $50 Amazon gift card. Register by Sept. 13.

GCA Office Hours

The GCA Office will be closing at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3 and will be closed on Monday, September 6 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. The office will reopen on Tuesday, September 7 at 8 a.m. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Brush and Bulk Pickup

The City of Scottsdale is still picking up Brush and Bulk Trash in zone 4, including Grayhawk. Please be patient as they work to get caught up. To check the status of pickup, please visit the City of Scottsdale website or call 480-312-5600.

Valley Storms Expected

Storms are expected in the valley this week. A few things you can do to prepare are:

Put away any loose items in your yard.
Trim any branches that look like they might snap.
Make sure you don't have anything in your yard that could collect water, as the standing water will encourage mosquitos following the storms.
Remember to be patient following storms as community landscapers complete cleanup in common areas. Reach out to Ashley Scott at ascott@ccmcnet.com or 480-563-9708 if you see a common area tree that needs attention.

Keep Your Yard Weed Free

With rain and warmer temperatures throughout monsoon season, weeds are proving to be a challenge in both the common areas and residents’ yards. As a reminder, residents are responsible for keeping their yards free of weeds. Please pull weeds and apply a post-emergent herbicide if necessary to keep your yard weed free. Retreat Village Association Email

Retreat Village Association (RVA) residents can now opt in to email or text distribution lists specific to the RVA. This is a great way to stay up to date on the upcoming guardhouse remodel and other important RVA news. Follow the steps below to sign up today! Questions? Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.

If you would like to have a transponder installed, please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during one of the schedule times in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder

We are no longer accepting cash for transponders. Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
