Lollipop Day Pop-up

Join neighbors at the Coventry at Grayhawk tot lot (74th Way between Journey Ln. and Quill Ln.) from 9 to 10 a.m. on July 20 to celebrate National Lollipop Day. Stop by and say “hi” to the Grayhawk staff and receive a FREE lollipop! We will be handing out sweets from 9-10 a.m., or while supplies last.

Food Truck Night

Pick up dinner for the whole family on the corner of 78th Way and 78th Pl. from 5-7 p.m. on June 22 from Two Fat Guys Grilled Cheese. Enjoy tons of cheesy variety like the Southwest Gobbler, Hot in the City or Thai Chicken. Check out the menu before you come! Park in the offices at Grayhawk parking lot located at 7940 E. Grab your family and friends and join us at Harkins 101 at 5:30 p.m. on July 28 for a showing of Space Jam: A New Legacy thanks to Kathy Craig, Skin Care Consultant with Rodan + Fields, and Kelley Carter, Realtor with ELLEYSFINEHOMES @ My Home Group and Scorpion Repel. Landscaping Update

Storms last week certainly kept the DLC crews busy! Priority focus throughout the week was emergency tree removals and clearing downed trees from houses, walls, roads and walkways. In total, 60 large trees and one saguaro were lost to the storms.

Crews also serviced park and tot lot areas and cleaned tennis courts. Drainage/ waterways were checked for debris and flooding issues and cleared where needed to prevent erosion damage. Trails and common area sidewalks were also checked and cleared as needed.

If you see a common area tree with damage following winds or a monsoon, report it by calling the GCA office at 480-563-9708 or by emailing Ashley at ascott@ccmcnet.com. Please be patient during monsoon season as crews are doing their best to get everything removed as quickly as possible.

Brush and Bulk Trash Pickup

Scottsdale Brush and Bulk collection will take place the week of July 26. Items must be placed for pickup by 5 a.m. on July 26. Stack items neatly, parallel to the street on your front property line, where your trash collection typically takes place. Bulk waste piles and green waste piles should be placed at least 3 feet from each other. Visit the City of Scottsdale website for more information on placement and what items are accepted.

Retreat Gate Access

The entry process runs much smoother for you and your guests if your guest list is updated through the ABDI gate access system. If you live in the Retreat, please take a moment to log on to gateacess.net (or download the ABDI Gate Access app on your mobile device) and update your contact and guest information. Retreat Village Association Email

Retreat Village Association (RVA) residents can now opt in to email or text distribution lists specific to the RVA. This is a great way to stay up to date on the upcoming guardhouse remodel and other important RVA news. Follow the steps below to sign up today! Questions? Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102). For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.

If you would like to have a transponder installed, please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during one of the schedule times in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder

We are no longer accepting cash for transponders. Please bring a check or credit card with you when you have a transponder installed.
