Holiday Decorations

If 2020 has given us anything to look forward to, it’s decorating for the holidays. Getting into the holiday spirit can be a real treat for everyone, and we encourage you to join in the fun! As you decorate, please remember that Grayhawk guidelines stipulate that outdoor décor can be placed on your property 30 days prior to a holiday and should be removed 30 days after. Happy decorating!

City of Scottsdale Water Project

Beginning in the fall of 2020, Scottsdale is constructing four new aquifer storage and recovery wells at strategic locations throughout the city. This will allow Scottsdale Water to maximizing use of renewable surface water supplies (i.e. waters from the Central Arizona Project and the Salt River Project) and minimize use of groundwater.

ASR well #1, at the corner of N. Miller and E. Deer Valley roads, will be drilled within the existing Scottsdale Water well site at this location. The driller was required to install 20-foot high panels during the drilling operation to assist with noise and light abatement. However, noise and light will still occur during the drilling operation, which began on Oct. 30 and will occur on a 24-hour basis for a period of up to twelve weeks. Visit the project website or more information on the various stages of the project.
