Family Glamp Camp Challenge

Weekly Activities

Each week will feature a exciting activity or challenge, with the activity being introduced on Monday.  This week's activity is featured below.

Pinspiration Canvas Curbside Craft
Front door drop off on Friday, April 24

The GCA is making sure the first 50 kits are free!  The kit includes a canvas for painting, stencils, paints and brushes.  Register online by noon on Thursday, April 23 and kits will be delivered on Friday, April 24.  If you don't get your kit for free, you can still purchase one ($7.50 each) by driving by Pinspiration anytime Wednesday-Sunday from 2-6 p.m.  We encourage you to donate an extra kit to families of first responders!  Share your works of art on the Grayhawk Facebook page!  




Thirsty Thursday

Every Thursday, we will partner will a local restaurant to host Thirsty Thursday. A staff member from the featured restaurant will show us through a video how to make a specialty cocktail, and you'll even be able to pick up the ingredients at the restaurant curbside.

Log into the Grayhawk Facebook page at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 to see what fun the bartenders from local restaurants are mixing up for you!  You can watch a short tutorial on how to make one of their signature beverages to make at home.  A $50 gift card to the featured restaurant will be raffled off to all who send in a picture utilizing the take out option from that restaurant.

Check out this Fridays Fitness class featuring Certified Zumba instructor, Jenny!  She will lead you in a short tutorial video you can follow along with at home!  Check out the Grayhawk Community Association Facebook page every Friday for all your Fitness needs.

Letters to the Vi

April 1- April 30
The residents of the Vi would love to receive pictures, letters or drawings from you and your kids. Help them feel the love while staying indoors and out of harm’s way!  Letters can be dropped off at the GCA office (7940 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy., Ste. 102) during the month of April.  Drop them in the mail slot on the left door.



Loop 101 Closures

Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) ramps at Hayden Road and Pima Road/Princess Drive scheduled to close in April and remain closed through JuneL

• North-and southbound Hayden Road at the Pima Freeway will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, April 27, until the morning of Friday, May 1. 
• The eastbound Pima Freeway on-ramp at Hayden Road and the eastbound off-ramp at Pima Road/Princess Drive are closed through early June. 
• The westbound Pima Freeway on-ramp at Pima Road/Princess Drive and the westbound off-ramp at Hayden Road are closed through mid-June. 
• The westbound Pima Freeway frontage road between Hayden and Scottsdale roads is closed through November 2020.

Common Area Amenities

As a reminder, all common area amenities including the tot lots, ramadas, and Retreat Village tennis courts, pools and restrooms have been temporarily closed.

Grayhawk has over 30 miles of walking and biking trails and those are still open.  If you do out into the community, please follow all social distancing guidelines and preemptive measures recommended by the CDC.


Transponder Installation

Transponder Installation (RVA Only)

Installations this week will occur on Monday from 8-9 a.m., Tuesday from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday from 9-10 a.m., Thursday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 a.m. at the GCA office (7940 E Thompson Peak Pkwy #102).  For questions, please contact Cierra at 480-563-9708 or caustin@ccmcnet.com.  



Transponders will be installed per the regular schedule, however, there will be modifications as no residents will be coming into the office. If you would like to have a transponder installed please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the online transponder installation form
2. Come to the office during the schedule time in the vehicle you are having the transponder installed on.
3. Park in front of the office and stay in your car
4. A staff member will come out to install your transponder
