Dear Grayhawk Resident,

By now, you are familiar with the recent outbreak of COVID-19 and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to help mitigate the potential spread of this virus. While there are no confirmed cases in our area at this time, the GCA Board of Directors and CCMC management staff believe that it is our role and responsibility to prioritize the health and well-being of our residents.

As a result, there will be some changes in our meeting and event calendar, as well as in our office coverage. Please read carefully below and watch for updates.

To adhere to our governing documents and Arizona state statute, our GCA and RVA Annual Meetings will take place on Tuesday, March 24 at the Fairway House at the Grayhawk Golf Club. However, there will be no food, presentation or prize giveaways. The meeting will strictly be to verify quorum and approve the minutes from 2019 Annual Meeting. It is anticipated the meeting will take no more than 10 minutes. Per the CDC recommendation regarding large scale events and out of concern for our residents, we encourage you to refrain from attending.

The April issue of the Grayhawk Flight will feature a recap of 2019 projects and events, as well as information from the Scottsdale Police Department that was to be shared at the meeting.

The following GCA sponsored events and activities will be cancelled or temporarily suspended:

  • March 22, April 19 Floo-Id YOGA in the Park (cancelled)
  • March 27 Family BBQ and Movie Night (cancelled, will be rescheduled if possible)
  • March 25 Spring Cookie Decorating Class (cancelled)

The GCA management staff plans to keep the office at 7940 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy., Ste. 102 open for regular business hours, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 5p.m. However, staff will be working on a modified schedule to include a rotation to work remotely. We ask that you attempt to have any questions answered via phone or email before visiting the office. If you do plan to come to the GCA Office, we encourage you to verify that the staff member you are attempting to speak with will be on site first. We understand that this may be an inconvenience and apologize.

Residents visiting GCA common area amenities are encouraged to take preemptive measures such as hand washing and hand sanitizing during and after visiting these amenities. If you or your child is showing symptoms of an illness; please refrain from using the GCA common areas at this time.

Please watch for any future updates as we will be monitoring the situation and adjusting accordingly.

Sincerely,
