Retreat Village Gate Access

RVA Gate Access

Grayhawk has five residents-only (unmanned) gates and two main gates, which are manned 24-7. The gates provide access control for both the Raptor and Talon Retreat. The two main entry gates’ primary purpose is admitting guests and vendors whose entry into the community has been arranged by RVA residents.

Resident Access

Residents of the community have transponders (stickers) installed on their vehicles in order to gain access through any of the Retreat Village gates. Every home is permitted four transponders. The first two are free, and the third and fourth are $40 each. Transponder replacements due to cracked windshields or new cars are $15.

Transponders are installed on the vehicles by trained community patrol personnel during scheduled times, found below.

Mondays from 8 a.m.-9 a.m.
Tuesdays from 2 p.m.-3 p.m.
Wednesdays from 9 a.m.-10 a.m.
Thursdays from 12 p.m.-1 p.m.
Fridays from 8 a.m.-9 a.m.

No appointment is necessary for installation. Simply complete the Transponder Installation and Update Form online and then bring your vehicle in to the GCA office at 7940. E. Thompson Peak Parkway during one of the scheduled times. If you are a new owner or a tenant, please contact Cierra Austin first to ensure there is no additional paperwork we need prior to transponder installation.

Access for Guest and Vendors

The RVA has made the access control process easier for residents with the implementation of the ABDI gate access system. This system allows residents to maintain their personal guest list and some of their records with the Gate Access website or Gate Access app. You can request login information for the Gate Access system to begin managing your information.
